Terms & Conditions

 
 
1. Payment

A 20% deposit is required on all to order items. All in stock items must be paid for in full on or before delivery.  lf more than one delivery is required to complete your order, the balance due in respect of each delivery must be paid prior to that delivery. The 20% deposit on the undelivered portion will be retained. All sales receipts are audited. Errors in pricing or arithmetic are subject to correction with your approval. lf you do not approve, Arramount Furniture Ltd reserve the right to cancel the sale.

2. Refunds

All refunds are issued through head office by cheque. This can take four to seven working days. The Branches cannot refund locally.

3. Delivery

a) It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure reasonable access for the delivery where access is difficult.  However, should the customer insist on delivery, the customer will be responsible for any damages to the property and/or to our product.
b) The lead-time quoted is an estimate based on past experience.  Arramount Furniture Ltd cannot be held responsible for manufacturer delays.
c) A re delivery charge will be imposed if no one is at home to accept delivery. Arramount Furniture Ltd must be advised of all cancellations twenty-four hours before scheduled delivery.
d) Arramount Furniture offer a door to door delivery service only.
e) Please check that the furniture you are purchasing will fit in through your doorways and into the room for which it is bought. A restocking charge of 25 percent will be charged if goods have to be returned and a credit note issued. Refunds will not be granted on this basis.
f) The company offer a free delivery service within 40KM of the store. For all other nationwide delivery, please contact the store where cost can be negotiated.
g) Arramount Furniture does not provide an assembly service. All products purchased in our stores that require assembly must be self-assembled.

4. Collections

All items must be paid for in full prior to collection. Customers must be in possession of original Sales Order and must present this as proof of payment. The number of the collection vehicle must appear on the collection docket.

5. Cancellation

No order placed with Arramount Furniture Ltd may be cancelled except with the agreement of Arramount Furniture Ltd. Cancellations or changes will be permitted only if Arramount Furniture Ltd can do so with the manufacturer. Your deposit will be forfeited on any orders we are unable to cancel or alter.

6. Damage

Customers must report any damage i.e scratches, dents, chips, tears, soiling etc. within 48 hours of delivery. lt is important that each item is carefully and thoroughly inspected by you or your authorised agent immediately upon delivery.  Arramount Furniture Ltd will not be responsible for any damage that is not reported within 48 hours of delivery.

7. Warranties

 a) Arramount Furniture Ltd takes pride in the products and service it offers. While we carefully advise you of the manufacturer’s reputation, quality and design, the actual choice and selection is the customer’s responsibility. Although we cannot guarantee the customer’s pleasure in the selection, we warrant that all merchandise will be delivered in a condition which meets the standards set by the manufacturer. 
b) No warranty or change of terms and conditions either expressed or implied shall be valid unless documented on this contract and approved by management.
c) Your Statutory Rights under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 are not affected.

8. Returns

All returns must be accompanied by proof of payment. We are unable to refund damaged or imperfect goods where imperfection was identified to you or was a shop floor model, that have been discontinued, prior to purchase.
